I love my rugs and have been collecting them as I travel around the world. Wool area rugs can be Persian, Oriental or even sheep skins from Greece. Contemporary rugs don’t have to be abstract or minimalist, they just need to be NOT ANTIQUE…however, I’ve found a few truly contemporary wool rugs like a zebra patterned one and a round purple flokati shag.
